      For us, terroir, is the sum of interactions between four essential components :

• soil and its geology
• climate and the notion of vintage
• grape varieties
• men

The wine of Clos Lapeyre is the expression of our terroir with its specificities, which we will describe below.

      For us, wine is also the expression of a way of life, of a culture … the history we have inherited and which we want to live out and continue.
Wine is the symbol of shared pleasure. The traditional “ça i bèver un cop” at home here in Bearn is the pleasure of receiving, just for a chat, a drink and to spend a little time with someone.

      After all, healthy and natural wine is not merely a drink, it is also good for your health as long as it is drunk with … a little moderation !
