It is principally the dry Vitatge Viehl cuvée
and the sweet Selection cuvée which have the potential to age. We have
kept them from the best years: very hot years (the vine likes the sunshine!)
as well as years where the grapes were slightly less mature or matured
more slowly with higher acidity levels. These years produce the greatest
wines.
The Cuvée Prestige existed in 1991 (the birth
year of Pauline Larrieu), 1993 and 1995 (the birth year of Claire Larrieu).
It is a careful selection of Petit Manseng: the cuvée came before the
Vent Balaguer.
